Causeway Media Partners, the Cambridge venture capital firm led by Boston Celtics co-owner and CEO Wyc Grousbeck, is looking to raise its second fund. According to a regulatory filing, the firm is targeting $175 million.

With offices in both Harvard Square and Palo Alto, Causeway focuses on working with companies in sports media or sports technology industries. The firm closed its first fund in October of 2014 at $125.6 million. To date, Causeway's investments include the Boston loyalty marketing company SessionM (of which the Celtics is a customer), Minneapolis-based coaching software startup SportsEngine and New York-based ticket search engine SeatGeek.

In addition to Grousbeck, Causeway's managing partners include Three Arch Partners founder Mark Wan (a partial owner of the Celtics and the San Francisco 49ers) and Highland Capital Partners co-founder Bob Higgins.

Causeway Media Partners did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
