New Money is BostInno's report on all the tech funding deals this week. Check back for updates with more new money.

ChoiceStream
  • Amount: $13.7M of a $14.3M round, according to a Form D.
  • Update: ChoiceStream announced a $14M Series C round led by new investor North Atlantic Capital. Here's the news release.
  • Investors: There are a couple of new names on the Form D ChoiceStream filed: Albert Hoover and David Coit. Fred Alger Management led ChoiceStream's Series B round, a $7.5M financing raised last July. No Form D with that announcement, so maybe this is part of that round. I gather there's a press release coming later today.
  • Details: ChoiceStream does programmatic ad buying. Founded in 2000, it raised nearly $70 million in venture capital prior to a major strategy shift in 2011. More details on that shift, here.

Kyruus

  • Amount: $25M
  • Investors: led by New Leaf Venture Partners, with participation from Providence Health & Services, Leerink Capital Partners and McKesson Ventures. Return investors are Venrock, Highland Capital Partners, Lux Capital and Fidelity Biosciences.
  • Details: Kyruus makes enterprise software for managing doctor referral networks and patient access in healthcare systems. In a press release, it said it's using the funds for commercializing its ProviderMatch technology. Kyruus raised an $11M Series B back in 2013.

Onapsis

  • Amount: $17 million Series B round
  • Investors: Round led by Evolution Equity Partners and followed by existing investor .406 Ventures and new investor Arsenal Venture Partners.
  • Details: Onapsis, a Boston-based provider of SAP and Oracle enterprise application security, said Tuesday that the latest round, which brings total funding to $30 million, will be used to expand the company's research and development efforts, as well as its sales, marketing and customer service teams. The company also announced that J.R. Smith, partner at Evolution and former CEO of Czech Republic-based AVG Technologies, is joining its board of directors.
Plexxi
  • Amount: $35 million
  • Investors: Round led by one unnamed investor and followed by three existing investors: Lightspeed Venture Partners, Matrix Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners.
  • Details: The Nashua, N.H.-based converged networking company has raised $83 million to date and said the latest round will help it expand sales, marketing, research and development. "2015 has been a record-breaking year for Plexxi as we gain a foothold in federal, financial services, education and service providers markets here in the United States and around the world," Rich Napolitano, Plexxi's CEO who joined last fall, said in a statement.

Correction: Plexxi no longer has an office in Cambridge.
