FundingFest: These Boston Startups Raised Millions This Week (3/16-3/20)

Flying robot maker CyPhy Works was among the local tech companies raising funding this week.

Boston tech companies made news this week with a number of funding deals. Here are the startup deals we tracked.

Help Scout, $6 million

• The Series A round was led by prominent venture firm Foundry Group and included CommonAngels Ventures. The Techstars Boston 2011 grad provides Web-based help desks and has been profitable for 18 months. Full story.

CyPhy Works, undisclosed amount

• Motorola Solutions announced that it has backed the flying robots maker, whose founder is iRobot co-founder Helen Greiner. Full story.

Cidewalk, $4 million

• The online ad network said it’s raised the funding to spin off its mobile ad platform Chitika into a standalone operation.

NuoDB, $9.5 million

• The database technology startup disclosed the funding in an SEC filing, and declined to comment on the deal to the BBJ.
