Endeavor, a global community for entrepreneurs, has selected two fellows for its Birmingham Founder Fellowship program.

The winning founders are Jessica Majno of Idyllo and Jonathan Robinson of Indie.

Majno is CEO of Idyllo, a home improvement marketplace curated specifically for homeowners. It aims to simplify the process of finding trustworthy products and professionals based on individual home requirements and goals. Its mission is to foster connections between homeowners and businesses to create living spaces that benefit people and the environment.

Robinson leads Indie, a small platform with a big vision for local commerce. Indie supports local retailers in modernizing their businesses to create viable community retail hubs. Recognizing the growing consumer preference for local over big retail, Indie offers software and operational support to local businesses. Features include custom tech for inventory-heavy retail, brand-centric e-commerce experiences and inventory management.

“For over 25 years, high-growth entrepreneurs in emerging markets around the world have been reaching their highest potential with Endeavor’s network,” said Malcolm McDonald, Birmingham general manager for Endeavor. “This Fellowship is our latest vision to pull that network deeper into Birmingham, supporting our highest-potential entrepreneurs from their early stages.”

The Birmingham Founder Fellowship by Endeavor is designed to equip Birmingham’s entrepreneurs with the network and resources they need to scale faster. The fellowship provides an opportunity for selected entrepreneurs to get matched with founders and operators who have successfully scaled their businesses. They also gain access to curated mentor calls, a peer group, resources and introductions to a regional investor network.

A release from Endeavor stated the Birmingham Fellowship is exclusively for "high-growth early-stage entrepreneurs in the greater Birmingham area."

"The organization looks for entrepreneurs with the vision and potential to achieve outsize enterprise value with their business, those who aspire to inspire future generations, and those who can leverage Endeavor’s network to exponentially grow their business," it stated.
