Miami-based rental property management software company DoorLoop said it has raised $10 million in seed funding. The funds will be used for investing in its technology platform, recruiting efforts and marketing initiatives.
The investors include DoorLoop co-founders Ori Tamuz, David Bitton, Adam Mait, Itay Gardi, Matt Cave and Dean Brodesky, plus Irving Weisselberger and Jason Morjain, principals of Miami-based Dragonfly Investments.
Some of the company's co-founders were owners and property managers. They couldn’t find an easy-to-use and affordable software for property management, so they set out to create one.
The company was founded in 2019, but officially launched in early 2021.
DoorLoop helps its clients manage tens of thousands of units in over 100 countries worldwide, according to a news release. Along with its co-founders, the company's nearly 40-person team includes a council of advisors with over 100 years of combined real estate experience.
Landlords, property managers, and management companies can use the DoorLoop platform to automate unit listings, tenant screening, rent collection, maintenance requests, moving out tenants and other tasks, according to the company's website.
The software may be customized for portfolios that include residential and commercial properties, housing associations, and affordable and student housing.
