Sacramento-based organic food delivery service Trifecta Inc. is teaming up with 9Round Fitness to become the kickboxing chain's official meal delivery partner in the United States.

Trifecta makes and ships complete cooked and vacuum-packed meals nationwide for fitness-minded consumers and those with special diets.

As part of the partnership, Simpsonville, South Carolina-based 9Round Fitness' U.S. members will have access to nutritional meal planning and customized meals that can be delivered to their door. Members will be able to select from several different Trifecta meal programs with recommended calorie intake differentiated for males and females. Members will also be able to tailor their meal plan to include the number of meals they'd like to receive per day or week while specifying dietary preferences and allergies.

"A killer workout, quality food and accountability are the three things that will help our members achieve optimal health results," said Shannon Hudson, founder and CEO of 9Round Fitness, in a news release.

Hudson founded the kickboxing chain in 2008 with his wife, Heather. The franchise provides clients with a 30-minute, trainer-guided, full-body circuit format kickboxing training. There are currently over 600 9Round Fitness locations around the world, including 12 sites throughout the greater Sacramento area, according to the company's website.

"9Round Fitness is a perfect partner for us as we both strive to help people change their lives by offering fitness and proper nutrition that is easily accessible," said Greg Connolly, founder and CEO of Trifecta, in a news release.

Trifecta is also the official meal delivery partner of UFC and the PGA Tour, and has formed strategic partnerships with sports leagues and entities including F45 Training, the American Heart Association, Team USA Weightlifting and the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding contest. Within the last several months, Trifecta has also struck deals to partner with CrossFit LLC, whose workout regimen is used in more than 6,000 affiliated gyms across the U.S., as well as Spartan Race Inc., which puts on endurance and obstacle races.

The meal delivery company ranked fourth in the Business Journal's latest Fastest Growing Companies list last year, with about $77 million in 2020 revenue.
