FlexScreen, the Pittsburgh-area creator of flexible window screens that got its start on the TV show Shark Tank, has entered into a licensing agreement that will take the company’s screen’s into Texas.

FlexScreen, based in Export, Westmoreland County, and designer and maker of innovative window screens, announced a partnership with NT Window, a second-generation privately held company serving southern states.

"We are thrilled to partner with NT Window, a company that shares our passion for innovation and commitment to customer satisfaction," said Joe Altieri, inventor and CEO of FlexScreen, in a release. "This collaboration not only underscores our dedication to advancing industry standards but also reinforces our mission to provide unparalleled solutions to our customers.”

President of NT Window Ryon Ray said he was excited to partner with FlexScreen.

“Offering FlexScreen as a standard feature will only add greater value to our products for our authorized dealer network and, most importantly, the end consumer,” Ray said. “We are extremely proud to continue being among the first manufacturers to bring innovation to our industry and customers across the southern United States."

This is the first licensing agreement for FlexScreen that brings their products to Texas.

Last year, the company unveiled a new automated manufacturing line for its products.

FlexScreen was also one of the 2023 Fast 50, among the fastest-growing private companies in the Pittsburgh region.
