Wisconsin Inno is bringing the innovation, tech and startup community together again for some healthy competition, bracket-style.
Inno Madness is our annual bracket challenge designed to generate awareness and excitement for Wisconsin's technology, innovation and startup ecosystem. Here's how it works.
Nominate a Wisconsin-based startup by Feb. 4, 2022. We're looking for private, tech-enabled businesses or companies that support innovation, and we're seeking startups from across the state. Submit your nominations here.
Based on your nominations, the Wisconsin Inno editorial team will assemble a bracket of Wisconsin startups. We'll reveal that bracket in March.
Throughout six rounds, the selected companies will go head-to-head as you, our readers, vote on which company you would invest in. Winners of each round will move forward based on your votes. Every week, we’ll post the updated bracket and voting will begin again.
At the end, we’ll announce our annual Inno Madness winner.
The 2021 Wisconsin Inno Madness winner was LUM, a Madison startup that began as a music streaming app and social media platform for independent artists. The company recently announced it will relaunch as a blockchain-based platform where fans can buy and trade music collectibles through non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
In 2020, the Inno Madness champion was Curate, a Madison company that was acquired this year by Washington, D.C.'s FiscalNote Inc. The 2019 winner was Madison data software startup AkitaBox.
