And the Winner Is: Rosy Takes Top Spot in Tech Madness 2020

Throughout the rounds, competition steadily heated up, until there were only two left in the inaugural NTX Inno Tech Madness bracket.

In this Final Round, women’s sexual wellness app Rosy went head to head against Gig Wage, a management and support startup. Rosy started the competition going up against Hashing Systems, a dapp development company working on the Hedera Hashgraph platform, handily taking a win. It later went on to beat more well established startups in rounds 3 and 4. The more experienced and well-funded Gig Wage took on strong competition in nearly every bracket, managing to come out on top each time.

With only three days of voting, more than 3,600 ballots were cast and by a margin of 51 votes, Rosy is the champion of Tech Madness 2020.

Rosy was founded in 2017 by former OB/GYN Lyndsey Harper, after she noticed sexual health was something many of her patients did not know or talk about much. The startup landed a $1 million seed round in February, earning even more funding later this year after being named one of the winners of the SoGal Global Pitch Competition.

Congratulations to Rosy and to all the startups who participated in this year’s bracket. This friendly competition was designed to highlight some of the hottest innovations happening around the Metroplex and based to a steady stream of votes and chatter online, it has done just that.

Here's a look back at the full bracket.
