Get Ready for the Semi Finals of NTX Inno's Tech Madness

It’s been another round of buzzer-beaters and tight matchups, as NTX Inno’s Tech Madness enters into the Semi Finals. But there’s still some more competition to go until we name our 2020 champion. So, get ready for Round 4, the semi-finals.

In Round 3, a few of the matches were determined by only a handful of votes. By just 22 votes, car-focused social networking app Park Up Front won out over competitive esports platform Geekelets, which topped Polte in Round 3. In an even tighter match, Dallas-based diversity and inclusion platform Kanarys, one of the newer startups in the competition and one of NTX Inno’s Startups to Watch, beat out local coworking company Common Desk by just 11 votes.

In other matchups, real estate SaaS platform Dottid, which has received more funding despite being the younger startup, lost to management and support software startup Gig Wage. In addition, the matchup between women’s sexual health app Rosy, which was one of the winners of the Dallas leg of the SoGal Global Pitch Competition, won over Glorious PC Gaming Race, in a round that put two companies in significantly different industries head-to-head.

In this round, more than 2,500 votes were cast, showing strong interest in Tech Madness and that the local innovation and startup community is supportive of their fellow startups.

Now, let’s get ready for the Semi Finals.

In this round, two of the more established startups in the bracket, Gig Wage and Park Up Front, will faceoff. In addition, we’ll be keeping our eyes on two of the youngest startups left, Kanarys and Rosy, both of which have raised recent seed rounds.

So, check out the bracket and start voting in Round 4. Remember, winners of each match are determined by a simple question: Which company would you invest in? It doesn’t matter whether you’re thinking with your wallet or if you’re just really passionate about a certain startup. This is a friendly competition designed to highlight some of the most exciting startups in the region.

Here’s the upcoming voting schedule:

  • Round 4 March 24 – March 26
  • Round 5 March 27 – March 30
  • Announce winner on March 31

And here’s a look at the updated bracket.
