Central Ohio's Coolest Offices: TriNet Clarus R+D

Clarus R+D has only been in its trendy Franklinton office for a few months, but it wants your vote as the region's coolest space to do business.

The company, officially TriNet Clarus R+D following its 2022 acquisition, combines "tax expertise and an innovative software solution simplifies the process of claiming the R&D tax credit for hardworking businesses of all sizes," Sherri Dorsch, director of financial planning and analysis, said in an email.

Clarus does that work from Kaufman Development's Gravity project, one of the drivers of an ongoing transformation of the neighborhood west of downtown and the Scioto River. Clarus in 2023 announced its plan to move into the full 11,416-square-foot second floor of the commercial office building in Gravity’s first phase.

That office, which Dorsch says is one of the region's coolest, offers open, sunlit spaces. There are traditional workstations along with comfortable, collaborative options.

Check out photos of the space in the slideshow with this story.

TriNet Clarus R+D has a staff of 45, putting it in the small category in our 2024 Coolest Offices contest.

We'll hold our vote to select this year's winner at the end of the month, so be sure you're keeping up with all our submissions. Here's who we've featured so far:
