Central Ohio's Coolest Offices: The Joseph Group

The Joseph Group left the Arena District for the Brewery District last year, a move that doubled its office footprint but also allowed for a new approach to office design.

The financial advisory firm wanted to be sure its new home reflected its mission of "helping create great lives, one story at a time," Lori Fisk, client concierge, said in an email. The firm worked with WSA to incorporate "stories" into the space, which was built out by Lincoln Construction with Mill Tech handling millwork.

Notable features of the space include a library, client photos and a kitchen where the team gathers for lunch on Casual Mondays.

You can see photos of the company's space in the slideshow with this story.

(Having trouble with the slideshow? Slideshows on this page automatically scroll through. Or you can click through via the small white arrow on the right side of the picture, about halfway down.)

The Joseph Group has a staff of 22 right now, putting it in the small category in our 2024 Coolest Offices contest.

Have questions about the contest? Here's what you need to know: Throughout the month of March, Columbus Inno will run slideshows of local offices, in the hunt for the region's coolest.

I've extended the deadline for submissions to March 15. To participate, email ekennedy@bizjournals.com with the following:

  • Three to 10 photos of your company's offices.
  • A brief description of what your company does and how it innovates, plus an explanation of how your physical space reflects that effort.
  • Employee count.
  • Photo credit and copyright information for your submitted photos. We need to know who took the photos, who owns them, and that we have permission from the latter party to use them.
