Dawson sits at the center of one of the region's most-pressing issues: the quest for workforce.
While the staffing firm at 1114 Dublin Road in Columbus is 75 years old, it's taking innovative approaches to helping match employees to employers, a spokeswoman said. Those include mobile job fairs, building relationships between educational institutions and businesses and raining programs for its job seekers.
And the company is also innovative in the use of its space, the latest entrant in our Central Ohio's Coolest offices contest. The company's headquarters includes a theater, which can be rented out not for a fee, but instead for a contribution to the firm's charitable foundation.
