StartupCincy Week, the region’s signature event for entrepreneurs, will return in October for its seventh year, and organizers plan on celebrating the city’s “homegrown hustle” in the process.

The event, a nearly weeklong celebration set for Oct. 23-Oct. 26, will continue to call Over-the-Rhine’s Union Hall home, but it will also include happy hours and meetups at locations throughout the neighborhood.

Registration is now open. Tickets this year are $50; student admission remains free.

The theme, “Homegrown Hustle,” follows last year’s tagline of “Spark the Future.” StartupCincy Week helps celebrate the region’s top up-and-coming entrepreneurs and aims to foster collaboration and connections.

"This year's theme, 'Homegrown Hustle,' celebrates Greater Cincinnati's entrepreneurial heritage and the collective drive to foster a vibrant startup and innovation culture," said Donna Zaring, director of external relations and development at Cintrifuse, which is leading the StartupCincy Week production.

Daily programming will include main stage speakers and panels, workshops and roundtables.

Cincy's Got Startups, an in-person, “America’s Got Talent” style pitch competition, returns for its second edition from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 26 at Union Hall – marking the end of StartupCincy Week activities.

This year’s winner will receive a prize package worth more than $10,000, including $1,000 in cash, legal services and Alloy Growth Lab and Cohatch co-working memberships. Applications are due by Sept. 26.

Additionally, event organizers are partnering with the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce to encourage local establishments to open their doors throughout the week and offer exclusive promotions.

StartupCincy Week was founded in 2017. More information about panels and events can be found at the event's website
