As Cintrifuse continues its mission to position Greater Cincinnati as a mecca of supply chain and sustainability innovation, it's recruited a seasoned Procter & Gamble executive to help champion the cause.
The Over-the-Rhine nonprofit announced July 19 Ashish Chatterjee is now serving as an entrepreneur in residence for Cintrifuse, bringing with him more than three decades of experience from P&G.
"With his remarkable expertise and unwavering passion for sustainability, I am confident he will take our sustainability efforts to a new level," Alisa Smith, Cintrifuse's director of innovation, said in an email. "Ashish’s invaluable contributions will undoubtedly propel us forward, making a lasting impact on the startup ecosystem and beyond."
While with P&G, Chatterjee held a variety of leadership positions, including six years as its leader of supply chain sustainability.
Cintrifuse has long been a leading voice locally to promote and grow sustainability-focused startups within the region. That advocacy has taken many shapes over the years, from working directly with the region's big companies to identify areas where their sustainability efforts hit roadblocks to help local startups target those challenges to helping launch the SustainableCincy accelerator in 2020.
Cintrifuse CEO Pete Blackshaw said Chatterjee, in his new role, is "set to fortify our ambition of becoming 'the Great Green Supply Way' to the nation and the world."
