A Birmingham startup is one of 30 companies selected to receive a boost from Femovate by Guidea's UX.

The company, KnowBra Inc., is a Prosper HealthTech Accelerator alum founded by Brittney Gray who is also serving as its CEO. It focuses on breast health, and it uses artificial intelligence and computer vision for post-mastectomy bra fitting. The platform automates insurance claims and offers zero-touch fittings. KnowBra aims to reduce discomfort, boost confidence and guarantees a proper fit.

The sponsorship program focuses on early stage "femtech" or female technology startups. Femtech refers to tech-enabled products and services that focus on women's health care needs.

The program provides founders with product strategy, UX research and design services; domain expertise and more. It works closely with each team to research, design and test digital solutions as needed, and the approximate value of the services are $25,000, according to the program's website.

To be eligible, startups must be a pre-seed to Series A startup and fit within one of the key domains the program focuses on.
