Ask anyone in our local tech ecosystem, and they'll tell you how fast this burgeoning community is growing. But a new ranking of the fastest-growing private technology companies in North America that highlights more than 20 Georgia-based startups has put our work in the national spotlight.

Deloitte has unveiled its annual Fast 500 ranking, which lists companies based on percentage of revenue growth over the last three years.

LendingPoint, a Kennesaw-based fintech company, was not only Georgia's fastest-growing company on the list, but the fastest growing company in the South as well. With 8,813% revenue growth, this local company cleared the Top 10 on the list at No. 9. LendingPoint provides direct-to-consumer loans from its borrowing platform. To date, the company has raised more than $12 million in funding and acquired one company, LoanHero in 2018.

Following LendingPoint was Atlanta software company Terminus, an account-based marketing platform that enables B2B marketers to target companies and grow sales, at No. 21. Terminus’ investors include Tim Kopp, managing director of Hyde Park Venture Partners, Atlanta Tech Village's David Cummings, Knoll Ventures, Edison Partners, Atlanta Ventures, Arthur Ventures and more. It’s seen revenue increase 4,679% in the last three years.

Other notable tech companies on the 2019 Deloitte Fast 500 include energy tech startup GreenPrint (27), customer experience software company FullStory (28), scheduling software startup Calendly (48) and data-driven marketing platform Springbot (193).
