Top Atlanta Tech Companies Featured on the Inc. 5000 List

Atlanta knows its the tech city of the South. But it's nice to get recognition every once in a while.

The Inc. 5000 list, which is a compilation of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the country, released earlier this week features more than 200 Georgia companies. Can we get a whoop, whoop?

While we can't list all of them here, we did notice a trend in the selected companies for our tech industry this year: tons of software and IT companies.

That's right, Atlanta is starting to become a SaaS town, having higher numbers of SaaS and IT companies listed than fintech, healthtech and security.

We've narrowed down the list to feature top 500 Georgia-based tech companies that made the list, include repeat mentions. Check it out below.

  • LendingPoint, a Kennesaw-based fintech company, was the highest ranked Georgia company on the Inc. 5000 list at No. 17. The company experienced 9,265% growth and $105.8 million in revenue.
  • Software giant Terminus was ranked No. 61 with 4,730% growth and $21.5 million in revenue.
  • GreenPrint, an Atlanta Tech Village graduate that helps businesses reduce their environmental emissions, came in at No. 71 with 4,281% growth and $6.2 million in revenue.
  • At No. 108, Atlanta software company Cognira reported 3,136% growth and $7.6 million in revenue.
  • DigitalCrafts, an Atlanta company that offers coding and software boot camps for full- and part-time students, was ranked No. 117 with 2,957% growth and $3.1 million in revenue.
  • No. 118 is Atlanta-based tech company working on the supply chain of junk removal LoadUp Technologies. The company reported 2,939% growth and $3.7 million in revenue.
  • Fintech company BAMFi claimed No. 121 with a growth of 2,861% and $12.3 million.
  • BlueSky Resources Solutions, an Atlanta-based company that specializes in providing staffing services for the information technology, finance, accounting and telecommunications fields, came in at No. 131. The company reports 2,697% growth and $6.7 million in revenue.
  • MyHealth, an Atlanta-based company that develops an electronic health information exchange software platform for the health care industry, was listed at No. 184 with 2,116% growth and $2.7 million in revenue.
  • Sifted, an Atlanta-based startup that creates lunch programs for businesses around the country to ensure employee satisfaction and engagement, has 2,099% growth and $6.9 million in revenue. This brings Sifted in on the list at No. 188.
  • No. 228 is Avelead, an Atlanta-company that helps hospitals and health systems optimize their clinical, financial and operational performance through implementation, technology and revenue cycle services. The company reports 1,809% growth and $7.2 million in revenue.
  • Tier4 Group, an IT services and IT security and technology recruiting agency, was ranked at No. 245, with 1,729% growth and $4.6 million in revenue.
  • Recliem is a recycling company that combines technology with logistics and regulatory expertise to serve the needs of businesses and communities. The company made the list at No. 282 with 1,554% growth and $40.9 million in revenue.
  • Atlanta company Staymobile provides full-service protection and device management services to mobile devices. The company was ranked No. 293 with 1,516% growth and $20.8 million in revenue.
  • No. 299 is LYFE Marketing, a company for small to mid-sized businesses with digital marketing products and tools, including branding, social media marketing, search engine marketing, email and content marketing services. The company has 1,501% growth and $3.2 million in revenue.
  • Crisp Video Group is a advertising and marketing company that produces and markets video advertising for major brands. The company was ranked No. 307 with 1,470% growth and $16.1 million in revenue.
  • Advertising company Modavate, which delivers scalable digital marketing and advertising products to commercial enterprise and government clients, was ranked No. 332 with a growth of 1,405% and $2 million in revenue.

At No. 389 is Rented.com, an Atlanta-based real estate company that assists property owners with the management of rental properties. The company's growth is 1,184% and $4.8 million in revenue. Telecommunications company M-Communications, which focuses on the engineering and installation of wireless systems, was ranked No. 439. The company has an increase of 1,040% growth and $20.8 million in revenue.
