  • Market Size: The United States government is by far the world's largest spender, with a large portion of their budget allocated to grants and contractual services and suppliers.
  • National Reach: The government spends money across the nation as well as across the world, meaning you do not have to be in DC to win federal contracts.
  • Number of Opportunities: The number of contracting opportunities available for the US government is extensive. Not only that, but the opportunities range in size and industry.
  • Set-Aside Opportunities: The Small Business Administration has ensured that at least 23% of federal contract opportunities are awarded to small business.
  • Timely Payment: The federal government has a "Prompt Payment" rule that ensures vendors are paid on time by federal agencies. If a payment on an orderly invoice is not released on time, it is considered late and interest penalties will be determined by regulators.
