Beta.MN announces its fall 2021 cohort of 14 companies

Beta.MN has announced the participating companies for its fall 2021 accelerator program.

The program will run for five months and will host 14 companies. The group includes companies that are addressing medical testing, lowered prescription costs and artificial intelligence.

One-hundred and seventy-eight companies have passed through the Minneapolis-based accelerator program. Those alumni have raised $632 million and employ over 1,300 people.

These are the members of the cohort: 

  • DXD Ag Insights is a Rochester, Minn.-based company developing software to analyze agricultural data through visualization and machine learning. DXD Ag Insights was founded by Tim Welle and Lori Wiles.
  • SIID Technologies leverages machine learning to correct systemic and institutionalized biases. Minneapolis-based SIID Technologies was founded by Eri O'Diah and Jazmia Henry.
  • Euverita Inc. is a medical-testing lab that does tests for Covid-19, the flu, strep and urinalysis at a patient's home. Hudson, Wis.-based Euverita was founded by Neal Wozniak.
  • Futuremodel allows businesses to share and graph data through a visual interface. The San Francisco-based company was founded by Davis Clark.
  • GatherWell offers on-site or drive-thru testing for Covid-19. The Ham Lake-based company was founded by Sarah Brown.
  • IntelligentRx provides a free search tool to help consumers save up to 85% on prescriptions. The company was founded by Thomas Kosgei.
  • IntelliU uses AI to assist med-tech companies in streamlining their design process by eliminating human errors and speeding up the process.
  • Peach Mindfulness utilizes an AI-powered platform to personalize meditation and mindfulness practices. The St. Paul-based company was founded by Quyen Balter and Eugene Medynskiy.
  • Scopa Analytics, takes the tagging feature of social media to other websites and digital content. The Minneapolis-based company was founded by Mark Osuna Senn and Pablo Alguindigue.
  • Shrpa pairs local guides with travelers, allowing them to share and discover adventures within their community. The Rochester, Minn.-based company was founded by Chris Lukenbill and Andy Vig.
  • Touca tests programs to determine impacts of code changes on software. The Minneapolis-based company was founded by Pejman Ghorbanzade.
  • TurnSignl is an app that gives on-demand legal help when drivers have been stopped by police. The Minneapolis-based company was founded by Jazz Hampton, Andre Creighton, Mychal Frelix and Mike Nathan.
  • Yarlow is an app that lets users track-home maintenance. The Minneapolis-based company was founded by Katie Shahan.
  • YoYoBoat is a boat rental marketplace. The Stillwater-based company was founded by Travis Hyde.
