Fire Awards: Finalist - Software/innovation

Moodeaux, which sells a collection of “clean luxury fragrances,” has notched several milestones in the past year. That includes winning a $75,000 grant from local nonprofit Arch Grants and in December being selected into the accelerator program of prominent beauty brand Sephora. Moodeaux is led by founder and CEO Brianna Arps

What was your company’s biggest achievement in the past year? Receiving beauty industry recognition in the form of nominations, awards and acceptance into competitive accelerators and inching closer to our first $1 million in total revenue make up Moodeaux's biggest achievements within the past year. In particular, Moodeaux was honored with a "Future of Beauty" award by Elle, while our founder and CEO Brianna Arps was named "Beauty Boss of the Year" by Essence alongside our "Best in Black Beauty" award win.

What is your company’s top goal for the next year? As a 2023 Sephora Accelerate brand, a top goal for 2024 includes furthering our mission by increasing Moodeaux's awareness and accessibility through a formal partnership with the renowned beauty retailer.
