Digital marketing company Sendinblue, which has its U.S. headquarters in Seattle, has acquired New York City-based MeetFox, a scheduling and video conferencing software company.

The acquisition marks Sendinblue's fourth in the past six months, as the company acquired three companies for a total of more than $47 million in September. Sendinblue didn't disclose the financial terms of the MeetFox deal, which has closed.

"We are always looking for companies that can really extend our product offering and for companies that complement our team," said Steffen Schebesta, Sendinblue's North America CEO and vice president of corporate development. "That's our whole philosophy basically behind all our acquisitions."

Sendinblue has more than 550 total employees, and Schebesta said Meetbox's nine employees will all join the company. He added that MeetFox's founder is based in New York City, but much of the team is in Austria, and employees can remain where they are.

Schebesta said Sendinblue currently has about 35 people in the Seattle area and 17 in Toronto, the company's other North American office. He estimated the Seattle team would grow to about 50 people in a year, but the exact amount is hard to predict because the company opens some North American roles to both offices, and Sendinblue has become more open to remote work. The North American team as a whole will likely double, Schebesta said, in the next 12 to 18 months.

Sendinblue, which has its global headquarters in Paris, offers email and SMS marketing, marketing automation and customer relationship management tools. The company, founded in 2012, raised $160 million in 2020.

Around the time of the acquisitions in September, Sendinblue was moving into a new, almost 12,000-square-foot office space in downtown Seattle. Schebesta said the office can hold about 80 people, and the team is fully moved in. He added that the company is currently encouraging employees to come into the office two days a week.

"We think it's a nice exercise to get back together, and we've done that more and more," Schebesta said. "We value working together in the same environment, of course, but nowadays everything is super flexible, and so is our policy."
