Bay Area startups announced just three seed rounds over the past week, and their hauls varied widely.
At the low end of the range was Valar Labs. The Palo Alto startup, which is developing artificial intelligence-powered software that's designed to that help oncologists make better treatment decisions, raised $4 million in its round.
At the opposite end, was Fractal Wagmi Inc. The San Francisco company, which operates a marketplace for gaming-related non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, raised $35 million for its NFT, or non-fungible token, marketplace for gamers.
In between the two was Inner Cosmos LLC. The Scotts Valley startup, which is developing an electrode device for treating depression raised 10 million in its deal.

Fractal Wagmi Inc. (dba Fractal), San Francisco, $35 million: Paradigm and Multicoin Capital led the round for this operator of a marketplace for gaming-related non-fungible tokens, or NFTs. Andreessen Horowitz, Solana Labs, Animoca, Coinbase, Play Ventures, Position Ventures, Zynga founder Mark Pincus, Crossover, Shrug Capital, TerraForm CEO Do Kwon and Tim Ferriss also invested.
Inner Cosmos LLC, Scotts Valley, $10 million: Lool Ventures led the round for this developer of an electrode device used to treat depression. Kittyhawk Ventures and Loup Ventures also participated.
Valar Labs, Palo Alto, $4 million: Andreessen Horowitz led the round for this developer of artificial intelligence-enhanced software used to help guide cancer treatments.
