Things are starting to heat up.
In Round 2 of Rhode Island Inno's Tech Madness competition, the Last Sixteen—a formidable group of venture-backed startups in the Ocean State—competed for a coveted spot among the Quarter Finals.
Buppy Pets crushed the competition, overtaking its rival BedJet with more than 80 percent of the votes. Not bad for a startup that made its debut just over two years ago. Other matchups were neck and neck: GoPeer snuck past Formally by just four votes, and TextUp took the W over NowRenting by nine votes. There were a total of 659 votes during Round 2.
Now, it's time to elect your Quarter Finals. Here are the startups competing this round:
- Buppy Pets vs. Siren Marine
- Dockwa vs. Feast & Fettle
- SquadLocker vs. GoPeer
- TextUp vs. Pangea.app
