Rhode Island innovators, thank you.
In Round 1 of our Tech Madness competition, 32 fast-moving Ocean State startups received a grand total of 572 votes. For some, that was enough to advance to Round 2, a.k.a. the Last Sixteen. But others came up just short.
In a nail-biting, head-to-head competition, plant-based milk startup Uproot took the W over Legably by just five votes. Formally and GrowGenics were neck and neck as well, but Formally advanced to Round 2 by three votes.

The Voting Schedule
Round 1 may be over, but Rhode Island Inno’s Tech Madness includes several stages, as the competition gets narrowed to the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and The Champ.
