The time has come to vote in the final round of Rhode Island’s Inno Madness 2022 bracket. The winning company gets bragging rights, honor and of course, the title.

More than 300 votes were cast in the semifinals as you, our readers, decided which two companies would move on to the finals. Feast & Fettle dominated its semifinal matchup, winning 74% of the votes in its bracket against VoltServer. Wingspans also came out on top in its matchup with Infused Innovations.

The final matchup will be Feast & Fettle vs. Wingspans.

Before we get to voting, let’s learn a little bit more about the two companies competing for your attention.

Remember: You cast votes based on the company you would invest in. This can be because you think they’d give you the best return on your investment, or you just believe in the company’s mission.

Feast & Fettle is a meal-delivery company based in East Providence. The company operates out of a commercial kitchen and delivers fully prepared meals to homes in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Maggie Mulvena Pearson, a former personal chef, co-founded the company in 2016 because she believes no one should sacrifice quality for the sake of convenience.

Wingspans is creating an archive of authentic career stories to help young people in their job discovery process. The Providence startup’s platform includes more than 700 stories, including over 40 short documentaries. Users can couple these stories with assessments and an action plan to build their dream career.

What is Inno Madness?

Inno Madness is our friendly, bracket-style challenge in which readers vote to advance companies based on one question: Who would you invest in? Whether you believe in one mission or product slightly over the other or would prefer to back a more established company versus an early-stage startup, how you answer that question is entirely up to you. The bracket is designed to shine a spotlight on 16 innovative, fast-growing local businesses.

The bracket, which Rhode Island Inno’s editorial team assembled based on nominations submitted by readers in recent weeks, encompasses a broad range of private, venture capital-backed or bootstrapped firms. In some cases, startups in their earliest stages will compete against some established favorites.

Take a look at the participating companies in our bracket and read the contest rules here.

The bracket is meant to represent the full breadth and diversity of the ecosystem. In the end, think of the bracket as just a fun look into tech local companies you need to know in 2022. Last year, Artist Republik took home the trophy. The company was acquired earlier this year by Friendable Inc., a mobile and marketing tech company.
