RFPIO sets sights on dramatic growth, adds new exec role

Jeff Santelices has landed a key position at RFPIO.

Beaverton-based software maker RFPIO is adding a new c-suite role to its ranks as part of the company’s “hyper-growth” strategy.

Jeff Santelices was named chief revenue officer. He will lead the company’s global sales, account management and partner and alliance management. He is based in Boulder, Colorado.

“We are thrilled to add Jeff to our executive leadership team,” said co-founder and CEO Ganesh Shankar, in a written statement. “Jeff’s experience focusing deeply on customer needs, building and developing high-performing teams, and evolving and maturing go-to-market motions will play an instrumental role in helping us scale even faster.”

Most recently, Santelices was CRO at San Francisco-based Mindtickle, a company with a platform for training sales teams on products. While there, he led a team to boost top-line revenue fivefold. He has also held executive positions at Apttus, Webroot and IBM.

“The company’s team and culture, category-leading solutions, strong financial position and momentum, and phenomenal set of customers make this an incredible opportunity,” said Santelices in a written statement. “I look forward to working closely with the team and building on successes to-date to accelerate the company’s growth trajectory.”

RFPIO makes software that manages the RFP process and other business inquiries. In 2021 it had $26.5 million in revenue and 320 employees. RFPIO is backed by private equity firm K1 Investment Management.
