A fast-growing Beaverton software company's latest acquisition could help it better work with investment world customers.

RFPIO acquired Chicago-based InHub, the companies revealed Tuesday. While terms of the deal weren't disclosed, InHub’s founder and CEO Ariana Amplo is joining RFPIO’s leadership team.

InHub brings with it a seven-person team, the majority of which are contractors.

RFPIO's software helps companies answer RFPs and other business inquiries through its response management software. The company has 325 employees.

InHub, founded in 2014, works with institutional investors and investment firms to gather, manage and evaluate RFPs. The InHub product will become part of RFPIO’s RFP360 business, which was created last year through a different acquisition.

Last year, RFPIO made its first acquisition, buying Kansas-based RFP360.

“Acquiring InHub is a big step forward and we’re thrilled to leverage their extensive experience as we transform how organizations request information, respond to requests, and connect,” said Ganesh Shankar, CEO of RFPIO in a written statement. “We look forward to working with InHub to bring even more buyers and sellers together in one platform — saving time, reducing costs, simplifying collaboration and improving business outcomes for everyone involved.”

Chicago-based InHub has more than 2,500 customers including North Pier Search Consulting, OneDigital and the NFL Players Association.

“Our focus at InHub has always been to help our customers make better investment and procurement decisions using our (request for) technology and expertise,” said Amplo in a written statement. “This new chapter is exciting for everyone involved, because we can continue that successful work at an accelerated pace and global scale.”
