Ansys has added a new CFO to its ranks.
On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh-based company announced that Rachel Pyles would succeed Nicole Anasenes as the company's chief financial officer.
"Rachel is a proven finance leader who, since joining Ansys, has significantly improved our operations by evolving our financial support function to support our rapid growth," said Ansys President and CEO Ajei Gopal in a release. "With her expertise in corporate finance, FP&A and mergers and acquisitions, Rachel has the right blend of experience and skills to ensure our financial foundation remains strong while leading our transition as we plan to combine with Synopsys next year."
In January, it was announced that Ansys would be acquired by Synopsys in a $35 billion deal.
Pyles joined Ansys (NASDAQ: ANSS) early last year as the vice president of strategic finance. Prior to that, she served in several different roles for companies like FIS, Worldplay and Vantiv.
"Ansys is an exceptional company with a strong track record thanks to our deep and broad product portfolio and our longstanding customer relationships," Pyles said in a statement. "I am excited and honored to take on these new responsibilities as chief financial officer for this dynamic company."
