Oahu coworking business Treehouse Coworking is hosting an open house at its Kahala location this week.

Held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 16, the open house “aims to extend [Treehouse’s] mission of supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs to a wider audience,” the company said in a release announcing the event.

It also marks Treehouse’s sixth anniversary. As noted in previous Pacific Business News reporting, co-founders Dawn Hunt and Keno Knieriem launched Treehouse in 2018, with the first location in Kailua. The Kahala location followed in late 2021.

In a previous interview ahead of the Kahala opening, Knieriem told PBN that the company’s mission “is to help diversify Hawaii’s economy through small business.” At that time, he noted that the company’s membership spanned industries including tech, the arts, real estate and finance, among others.

Treehouse’s Kahala space features executive suites, micro-offices, indoor and outdoor work areas, conference rooms and more. During the open house, attendees can tour the facilities, and complimentary refreshments will be available throughout the day.

"This open house event is a celebration of our journey over the past six years and an invitation to more individuals to join our vibrant community," said Hunt in a statement. "We've seen firsthand the power of collaboration and support in helping businesses thrive, and we're excited to share that with even more entrepreneurs."

Treehouse Kahala is located at 4819 Kilauea Ave. #7. For more information on Treehouse, click here, and for event details, click here.
