Hawaii Technology Development Corp., or HTDC, in collaboration with the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce and online jobs resource Hawaii is Hiring, is hosting a fair for jobs in the tech industry next week after a two-year hiatus, HTDC officials announced Monday.
The 2022 Tech Job Fair — which will be on Friday, Jan. 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — will be completely online, including virtual booth exhibits. Up for grabs at his year's fair will be 171 available tech-based roles, in addition to more than 14 internships and access to 21 organizations hiring for tech jobs.
Hiring organizations include Servco Pacific, Pacxa, Oceanit, Mana Up, Servpac, Hawaii Pacific Health, and eWorld Enterprise Solutions, among others. Positions companies are looking to fill include project managers, computer engineers, business analysts, sales associates, and information security managers, among others.
Participants in the 2022 Virtual Tech Job Fair will also have the opportunity to reach out to recruiters, upload their resumes, network with hiring managers, and attend live sessions that touch on topics such as working in Hawaii's growing IT sector and how companies are grappling with "The Great Resignation."
