One of the top executives at Madison-based cancer screening firm Exact Sciences Corp. plans to step down this year.
Exact Sciences executive vice president and chief financial officer Jeff Elliott will leave his role in 2024 for personal reasons, the company announced Jan. 7. He will continue in his position until a successor is appointed and then will serve as a special adviser to Exact Sciences CEO Kevin Conroy.
Elliott joined Exact Sciences (Nasdaq: EXAS) in 2016. He was previously a senior research analyst at Baird, covering diagnostics and life science tools companies.
Exact Sciences has hired an executive search firm to review both internal and external candidates for the job.
The business announced Elliott's resignation as it revealed preliminary financial results for its fiscal year ended Dec. 31. Exact Sciences said it anticipates full-year revenue of about $2.5 billion, up 20% from the same time a year earlier.
