Gener8tor, the Wisconsin-based startup accelerator and venture fund, has named the businesses participating in its fall gBeta programs across the state.
The cohorts for three gBeta accelerators in Wisconsin – gBeta Madison, gBeta Beloit and gBeta IIoT, an industrial internet of things accelerator previously held in Youngstown, Ohio, but now operated from Milwaukee – started Oct. 1 and will be produced virtually. GBeta is gener8tor's free seven-week accelerator for early-stage companies in a certain geographical area or industry.

GBeta Beloit
- Aktibo Athletics: Company creates athletic apparel for eco-conscious consumers, providing clothes made from recycled and sustainable materials.
- GLW: Creates commercial drone technology, employing a unique modular drone unit and a customizable parts marketplace.
- QwikTrips connects individuals with service providers in order to quickly and easily schedule appointments.
- Safepro has developed an emergency evacuation system for dangerous events such as active shooters.
- Thriveific: Developed an application for accounting, customer relations and project management that provides small business owners the tools they need to run their business through one centralized platform.
GBeta Madison
- The Tiers System: Platform tracks and displays dance team performance analytics for dancers, coaches, athletic directors and studio owners.
- Boosted Chews: Maker of caffeinated chocolate chews provide consumers with an alternate method to supplement their caffeine needs.
- BankerGPS: Developing a system that helps banks and credit unions automatically coordinate and execute their engagement and growth strategies across the institution at the individual customer level.
- HUBBI: Developing an integrated home management dashboard helps homeowners prioritize and manage home investment decisions, saving time and money.
- Field Prophet: Company develops crop production risk models and software solutions that identify and manage risk for farmers and agribusinesses growing crops.
GBeta IIOT (Milwaukee)
- Indrio Technologies: Builds chemical sensing lasers to increase efficiency while reducing downtimes, operating costs and environmental impacts across various sectors, including automotive and manufacturing.
- Kugar Inc.: Developed a novel platform of modular building blocks, called Instablox, that can assemble into thousands of different machine types.
- Maxwell Labs: Builds systems that cool high-performance electronic devices for data centers and supercomputers to enable up to 30% improvements in efficiency and performance.
- Node-U-Design: Creates control modules to reduce the cost of time and labor needed to implement automation on the manufacturing floor while increasing speed and precision.
- ZaiNar: Develops technology that locates radio devices in 3-D with sub-meter accuracy, without retrofitting or additional battery drain.
