Launch Tennessee is gearing up for the 10th year of its signature conference.

The organization, which works to fuel startups statewide, this week announced the lineup for this year’s 3686.

The event, named for Nashville’s geographic coordinates, will be held in that city Sept. 19–21 at Wildhorse Saloon.

One of the speakers named so far includes Suzanne Drumwright, director of operations for Dextrous Robotics, who is on a panel called "Ready for Liftoff: Getting your product to market in regulated industries." Her company is a logistics-focused startup currently focused on building a robot that unloads bulk-loaded shipping containers. The company opened its new headquarters in Midtown earlier this year.

Also scheduled to speak at the conference is Rob McCabe, chairman of Pinnacle Financial Partners, which has a significant presence in Memphis. Pinnacle is the No. 3 largest bank in the Memphis area, with $2.24 billion in local deposits as of June 30, 2022, according to MBJ research.

The agenda will also include a live pitch competition, one-on-one meetings with investors, and a live recording of former governors Phil Bredesen and Bill Haslam’s podcast, “You Might Be Right.”

“It’s been a thrill to see how 3686 has grown and changed over the past decade, and we’re looking forward to creating a unique atmosphere, where attendees can make meaningful, impactful connections,” LaunchTN CEO Lindsey Cox said in a news release.

Last year’s event, the first in-person 3686 since the Covid-19 pandemic began, drew more than 800 attendees from 23 states, according to LaunchTN.
