Plano-based technology consulting company Improving has acquired Frisco-based technology firm Zigatta, the company announced today.
According to a news release, the transaction is expected to increase Improving's annual revenue to exceed $275 million and expand its reach in the U.S. and Latin America. Zigatta currently has an office in Guadalajara, Mexico.
“The mutual benefits of joining forces with a business like Zigatta are significant. We are able to better serve both new and existing customers with Nearshore services as well as further grow our brand presence in these key markets,” Curtis Hite, CEO of Improving, told the Dallas Business Journal. “Equally as important, our companies’ values and cultures seem unusually aligned. Zigatta has a noticeable commitment to an inclusive culture with an equal expectation of delivery excellence. I am excited to see our collective growth together.”
Through the acquisition, Zigatta's leadership team will continue to operate and grow the company but with access to Improving's resources.
"This is a very exciting announcement," Nahid Giga, CEO of Zigatta, said in a news release. "Improving shares our passion and commitment to company values, giving back to the community and delivering excellent technology solutions for our customers. Being part of Improving will provide us with a collection of new capabilities and offerings to better serve our customers' current and future needs.
