Rev1 Ventures is a first stop for many an innovative startup on the hunt for funding.
The firm, which besides investing advises startups and connects them to services and customers, moved into a 14,000-square-foot second-floor office in Gateway University District in early 2020. That opened incubation space for 10 to 12 more startups at its previous 1275 Kinnear Road home.
It's that Gateway administrative office the firm argues is one of the region's best, the second entrant in our month-long Central Ohio's Coolest Offices contest.

About Rev1 Ventures: Rev1 has $130 million in assets under management over several funds investing in technology startups. The nonprofit also assesses business ideas and trains entrepreneurs on business-building, like finding product-market fit. It also connects startups with discounted business services such as attorneys and marketing. In addition to its Gateway administrative office, it rents office and lab space to startups on Kinnear Road.
About the contest: Throughout the month of March, Columbus Inno will run slideshows of local offices, in the hunt for the region's coolest. At the end of the month, we'll hold a vote to determine our winner.

Columbus Inno covers the region's most innovative companies. While that's largely technology startups, we recognize that other types of businesses can fall under that banner.
