Nominations for The Fire Awards now being accepted

Cleveland Inno is now accepting nominations for The Fire Awards, our premier recognition platform that aims to honor the companies, organizations, entrepreneurs and executives who are setting the Northeast Ohio innovation economy ablaze.

The Fire Awards will share the stories of businesses and individuals that have distinguished themselves over the past year. The program is being presented here in Cleveland as well as in cities across the country as part of the American Inno network of publications.

After reviewing inbound nominations, the Cleveland Inno and Cleveland Business Journal staff members will select the honorees for The Fire Awards, grouped into categories, with one winner per category later being selected as that category's Blazer Winner for 2022.

Some of the things we'll be looking for in selecting The Fire Awards honorees are:

  • New funding
  • Headcount growth
  • Social and community impact
  • Product launches
  • Company pivots and/or growth, and ...
  • Amazing stories of innovators who are reshaping the local innovation ecosystem.

Fire honorees can include later-stage tech pillars, growth-stage startups, accelerators, venture firms, meetup groups, nonprofit organizations and more. Self-nominations are accepted.
