Since Launchways’ inception, our mission has been to help small-to-mid-sized businesses grow their organizations by empowering their human potential. We understand the unique pain points that growing businesses face, and particularly the need to create scalable solutions that reduce costs while providing employees with the most impactful employee benefits possible. Growing businesses are the sum of their employees' strengths, and quality employee benefits and sound human resources practices are crucial to building and maintaining an effective, engaged team of talented individuals that will generate sustainable business growth.

In our mission to empower the leaders that drive growth in these companies, we have taken a hands-on and comprehensive approach to engaging the start-up community in the greater Chicago area. Over the past two years, we have forged partnerships with leading business organizations to support growing companies in our area, including Chicago Inno, Illinois Technology Association, Hyde Park Angels, Next Series Club, HR HotSeat, and more. In June, we partnered with FinTex to hold a forum on effective HR strategies.

At the same time, Launchways has experienced a period of rapid growth and made significant investments in both people and technology over the course of 2018-2019. This growth has expanded our capacity and deepened our understanding of the challenges that businesses face as they scale. As part of our growth and our increased focus on supporting the community of growing businesses in Chicago and the Midwest, Launchways moved to a new headquarters in the West Loop this April.

These significant investments and period of fast growth have culminated in a significant partnership. In recognition of our accomplishments and to further fuel our growth, Patriot Growth Insurance Services, a growth-focused insurance services firm, has added Launchways to its national platform. As Matt Gardner, Patriot founder and CEO, said: “Launchways has developed a unique business model that addresses the needs of growing businesses in the Midwest. We are thrilled to add their unique approach to employee benefits to our platform while expanding Launchways' reach and impact throughout the region.”

Patriot's partnership with Launchways is a strong validation of our business model and our success in the local marketplace. Patriot believes in Launchways' winning formula – and as such, our brand, business model, and team will remain the same. Launchways' custom employee benefits and human resources offerings have been well-received in our market, and we are focused on continuing to grow our market share. And, as part of the Patriot platform, Launchways will now have access to valuable resources and connections that will drive future growth in the Midwest and throughout the country.

Patriot is currently comprised of over twenty locations throughout the U.S., with a majority of these organizations located on both the East and West coasts. Launchways is the first member of the Patriot network that is headquartered in the Midwest. Together, we look forward to leveraging the Launchways’ business model, brand and team to expand our footprint in the region.

As Launchways President Gary Schafer stated regarding the partnership: “Our mission has always been to help growth stage businesses maximize their human potential by providing customized HR and benefits solutions with a hands-on approach. We look forward to expanding our reach within our region and throughout the country with Patriot as our partner.”
