Chicago Ideas Week, a festival that brings speakers from across the world to Chicago for a week of fireside chats, community discussions, and hands-on labs, announced its speaker lineup Thursday. Speakers include Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel, soccer star Abby Wambach, and Skinnygirl's Bethenny Frankel.

Other CIW speakers include entrepreneur and investor Sam Zell; CTO of the United States Megan Smith; Nike shoe designer Tinker Hatfield; ESPN sports anchor Linda Cohn; former Deputy Director of the CIA Michael Morell; former Joints Chiefs of Staff Mike Mullen; and Obiageli Ezekwesili, the founder of the #BringBackOurGirls movement, among others. You can see the full list of speakers here.

Chicago Ideas Week, founded by Groupon and Uptake founder Brad Keywell, was launched six years ago to spark conversation and ignite change through focused talks with leaders and innovators across a range of industries. This year's festival takes place from Oct. 17-23.

“Every year we strive to provide stimulating programs with world-renowned speakers while fulfilling our mission of crossing industry and social boundaries to spark ideas into action,” Keywell said in a statement. “This year, we continue to discuss timely topics and pressing issues to inspire attendees to think beyond the sessions—about the action each individual can take after the events to make their world better.”
