Update: Nominations are now closed.
Here at BostInno, we’re endlessly trying to figure out what the next big thing to come out of Boston will be. Here's one recent attempt on my part, for instance. But once a year we enlist you, the crowd, to tell us what you think on the subject. And to engage in a bit of friendly competition while you’re at it.
What I’m trying to say is, Tech Madness is officially back for another year.
Starting with 64 local tech companies, we’ll take your votes on which you think are the best contenders to be the most valuable Boston tech company in five years' time.
Before we get to the voting, we need you to help us pick the Boston-based tech companies, from startups to anchors, that we should include among the starting 64. Click here and fill out the form, to nominate the company you think most deserves a slot in the bracket.
Nominations for Tech Madness companies will run until Feb. 12. We'll select the 64 and seed them based on factors including how much capital they've raised.
The finalists will be announced on Feb. 17, and we'll be holding a kickoff event in March—so keep an eye out for that.
And of course, check back in March for the chance to vote on the 3rd annual Tech Madness bracket. Last year's winner, Rapid7, went on to an IPO during the year, BTW—this is serious business, people!
