Greg Selkoe's New Startup Has a Name: Curateurs.com

Former Karmaloop CEO Greg Selkoe has remained mum about his new venture for months – but now it's got a name in Curateurs.com.

Selkoe, of course, was ousted from Karmaloop after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March. In May, Seth Haber, formerly the co-owner and director of the Agenda Trade Shows, was named the new CEO.

Never one to sit on his hands, Selkoe has been working on a new company for some time, though details have remained scarce. Today, at least, we know it's called Curateurs.

In a quick email sent from his phone, Selkoe told BostInno this:

My co-founder, Paul Q. Judge, and I will be launching Curateurs.com this year. It is an eCommerce marketplace play – we have a number of exciting influencers and celebs involved in the project ... We have been fielding a lot of incoming interest from the press and will be ready to make a formal announcement relatively soon. We appreciate the interest and will keep you posted!

In a tweet earlier this month, Selkoe offered a small glimpse at what the new project will entail, and look like:

The company has a website and Twitter handle, though both are currently void of any real information. Selkoe's LinkedIn profile also lists Elevation Conference as a current project, which it says he's working on with Pharrell Williams.
