A Man Was Shot and Killed in a Car Near Kendall Square
A man in his 30s was reportedly shot multiple times while in a car near Kendall Square Wednesday evening. Detectives are interviewing witnesses, and the suspect remains at large. “The passenger in that car sustained serious gunshot wounds,” Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. At a certain level, the ongoing deflategate nonsense clearly seems to resemble a poorly written made-for-TV movie. And in the latest development of the inexplicable plot line, we have Ted Wells, who investigated the deflategate incident for the NFL (producing the self-named "Wells Report"), buying a multimillion dollar apartment in New York City. His new place formerly belonged to Serena and Venus Williams until Wells paid them $2.1 million for it. It's a high profile purchase at the worst possible time for the NFL.
