Entrepreneurial Boston University students, who reached the finalist round of BU's New Venture Competition, gathered Tuesday evening in the Questrom School of Business to pitch their startups and compete for prizes.

Sub-It “aims to supports peer to peer interaction regarding short term subleases within the housing market.” The Sub-It team works to solve a growing problem for college students looking to sublet or search for apartments. Sub-It also works to provide these services in “a safe and controllable environment.”

More than 100 people came to the event, which was the 15th annual BU New Venture Competition. The other startups that pitched were CloudSolar, which “wants to provide everyone an opportunity to participate in the solar movement," and Alt-Options LLC, “a financial services company offering a trading and pricing model for OTC Bitcoin derivatives transactions.”
