Tech Madness: Round 4 Voting Begins, 8 Companies Left

Update 3/31: Voting for Round 4 has closed—click here for the results and Round 5 (Semi Finals) polls.

Here's what we wrote for the original Round 4 post:

As you can see above, we've got some awesome companies in the Quarter Finals of our Tech Madness contest—but maybe not the ones you would've expected when this all began.

There's one unicorn (SimpliVity), one unicorn-to-be (DraftKings) and a half dozen other fast-growing local tech companies—but all of the publicly traded companies in the bracket have now been knocked out.

Way to show faith in our up-and-comers, Boston.

Here's how the bracket stands after the first three rounds of voting:

You'll notice that the highest seed remaining is SimpliVity (No. 2), while the lowest seed still in it—the biggest Cinderella story in-the-making—is 14th-seeded Drizly. The startup has overcome No. 1, 3 and 4 seed companies to get here; the team will now face fellow consumer tech upstart DraftKings for a spot in the Semi Finals.

Polls for Round 4 are below. Voting in Round 4 runs through Tuesday, March 31, at 5 p.m. (Looking ahead, we'll then be running Semi Finals voting through April 6, and the championship round will close on April 8.)

Here's our guide to all 64 of the Tech Madness companies.

Thanks for participating everyone!
