BostInno Tech Madness: Round 2 Voting Begins

Update 3/23: Voting for Round 2 has closed—click here for the results and Round 3 voting.

Here's our original post for Round 2:

If we learned one thing from the first round of voting, it's that Tech Madness is already living up to its name. Early upsets are no doubt one of the most thrilling aspects of a competition like this one, and we saw more than a few—like with SimpliSafe vs. EverTrue, PeerTransfer vs. HourlyNerd and Bullhorn vs. Drizly. So: could a small startup ultimately beat out a late-stage tech firm in Tech Madness this year? At this point, it's pretty clear that anything could happen by the championship round.

There were also a number of very close contests in Round 1, such as Circle vs. Infinio, Rethink Robotics vs. Bridj, and Jana vs. Adelphic (see the list of closest contests below the polls).

In Round 2, things are bound to heat up with contests such as CoachUp vs. RunKeeper—both of them upset teams from the first round. (Brush up on the teams with our guide to the Tech Madness companies.)

Voting in Round 2 runs through Monday, March 23, at 5 p.m. The final, championship round closes on April 3.

Thanks for participating everyone!
