Now You Can Order Alcohol Through Your Desktop As Easily As You Can From Your Phone

Drizly was already providing users with an easy way to get alcohol delivered to their doorsteps with a few taps on their iPhone or Android. The startup announced Wednesday, however, it was bringing the same ease to consumers' desktops.

The alcohol delivery service has debuted a companion e-commerce website, Drizly.com, allowing users to order beer, wine and liquor straight from their desktop, and receive it at the same speed they would through the company's mobile app — 20 to 40 minutes.

"Having the best customer service means offering the convenience of a multi-screen experience," said Drizly Co-founder and CEO Nick Rellas. "By offering the Drizly experience through a Web browser, we are also making life easier for the hundreds of corporate customers that use Drizly for office parties and functions."

To celebrate Drizly.com, the company will be offering customers free delivery on their next order through the end of September with the code "DRIZLYWEB." For New York residents who don't have to pay the $5 delivery fee, Drizly will be gifting them $5 off their next order.

Drizly most recently announced its expansion to Washington, D.C. The nation's capital marked the fifth major metropolitan market the brand has expanded to outside of Boston just this year, joining the likes of Chicago, Denver, New York and Los Angeles.

The startup closed a $2.5 million seed round in May, which it folded into the initial $2.25 million seed round Drizly raised in January.
