Boston's business elite has been busy this past week. Catch up on who's going where below:
WiTricity announced Donald Peck would be stepping in as the wireless charging company's chief financial officer. Peck most recently served as EVP, CFO and treasurer of LoJack Corporation, where he reportedly grew market capitalization by 85 percent.
WiTricity's current CFO, Joanne Bryce, will remain with the company in a key consulting role, according to a release. What's more, WiTricity has increased its employee base by more than 30 percent in the past nine months.
Secure storage mobile app Mustbin named its CTO Satyender Mahajan the company's first CEO, according to the Boston Business Journal. In a statement, Mahajan said his focus "will be to continue delivering the best products to [Mustbin's] rapidly increasing user base and ensure that millions of potential users learn how they can keep everything important in one place."
VIP partying app Tablelist has hired Keith Frankel, who spent the last year and a half serving as HubSpot's head of creative and design, as its chief digital officer. (More on that here.)
In other HubSpot news, the inbound marketing leader's CMO Mike Volpe will be joining the board for mobile field activity software company Repsly, according to BetaBoston. The announcement came on the heels of HubSpot filing for a $100 million IPO.
KAYAK Co-founder Paul English also joined the board of fashion startup Nineteenth Amendment, which he has invested an undisclosed amount in. (More on that one here.)
Suffolk University President James McCarthy has quietly stepped down to "pursue consulting and business opportunities." The school abruptly named Norman Smith, the former head Dowling and Wagner College in New York, as interim president.
