Cybersecurity Firm Onapsis Raises $9.6M Led by .406 Ventures

Cambridge cybersecurity company Onapsis banked $9.58 million on Tuesday in a round led by Boston VC firm .406 Ventures, according to the Boston Business Journal.

Endeavor Catalyst also partook in the round, and .406 partner Maria Cirino will be joining Onapsis’s board.

The company creates applications to protect highly classified and sensitive information from vendors like Oracle and SAP. As a result, Onapsis mostly delivers its services to large corporations, government organizations and other companies in need of securing sensitive resources like supply chain management, strategic planning and business intelligence.

The newfound funding will be put towards expanding the company’s global sales operations and research and engineering teams. Founded in 2009, Onapsis also have offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
