Meet the 4 Startups Breaking in Constant Contact's Small Business InnoLoft This Summer

Marketing firm Constant Contact announced earlier this year that they were building a startup lab out of their Waltham, Mass. headquarters, designed to bring in fledgling companies that target small businesses and give them the tools they need to grow. On Tuesday, the company announced its first four teams that have been selected for what Constant Contact is calling the "Small Business InnoLoft."

Constant Contact wants startups to think of the new pad as a modern alternative to the days of the garage office, noting on the InnoLoft’s website that it has “better amenities, tech hookups, a kegerator and no lawnmower taking up space.”

Indeed, perks are aplenty. Over the course of four months, each accepted startup will receive guidance from Constant Contact employees, free office space and a check for $10,000 to put toward marketing efforts — not to mention access to A-List introductions with potential customers and investors.

Constant Contact has already had three locally-spun startups – MarketMeSuite, Shareist and HourlyNerd – test out the idea of the InnoLoft, according to BetaBoston. Now that the July class is officially moving in, however, the teams are making room for the new foursome, listed below:

OmniLync – Founded by Andre Arzumanyan and David Arzumanyan in 2011, the startup enables retailers to analyze data they collect at point of sale to help small businesses develop meaningful connections with consumers.

Sidewalk – The 500 Startups and DreamIt Ventures alum spins data from social networks to help businesses target the promising prospective customers and predict their sales success rate.

mosaicHub – Started by Mary-Alice Miller, mosiacHub hooks local experts and independent service providers up with those willing to pay for their services and skill sets.

The High Bar – This socially-minded startup provides a SaaS product that lets charter schools and nonprofit organizations stay in touch with board members and assess progress.

Congratulations to all the companies! Seem like something your startup should consider? Constant Contact will soon be accepting applications for its January 2015 class.
