Wellesley, Mass.-based Mobiquity, which offers mobile business strategy consulting and mobile design and development for enterprises, raised $3 million in a venture round on Tuesday, according to a new filing with the Security and Exchange Commission.
Mobiquity was co-founded in 2011 by consulting veteran Bill Seibel, the former COO of Cambridge Technology Partners and CEO of ZEFER, and top mobile strategist Dr. Scott Snyder, the ex-president of Breakthru Advisors and CEO and President of Decision Strategies International. Since then, the mobile company has raised a total of $24.6 million in funding from investors Longworth Venture Partners and Sigma Partners, among others.
The company claims that it has increased revenue by 600 percent compared to its first full year in operation in 2012.
Mobiquity offer created mobile apps for companies spanning a range of industries, and calls a number of big name corporations clients, including CVS, Fidelity Investments, MetLife, The New York Post, iRobot, NewSpring Capital and Weight Watchers International.
